Introduction
The European Confederation of Care Home Organisations (E.C.H.O.), which was founded in 1989, is a non-profit organisation whose central office is located in Brussels. Currently,
E.C.H.O. represents 12 member states with nearly one Million bed spaces in the area of the stationary private older people and adults with learning disabilities help, in addition to the ambulant range.
E.C.H.O. is composed of the national federations of Bulgaria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, United Kindom, Portugal, Finland, Poland, Spain and E.C.H.O. is still growing.
The member enterprises take responsibility for more than 680.000 employees and approx. 50.000 apprentices and for almost 40 billion Euro of capital invested.
